When an application for an RLP is to sense low density product such as saw dust, it is not practical to expect
the RLP to reliably sense the product at the exact point of contact. Because of the low density of some
products, it is recommended that you install the RLP in such a way that the rod will become buried in the
product, enough to increase the product density at the contact area.
